The Office of Student Affairs has responsibility for student activities and governance, University Life leadership programs, and campus-wide special events such as Family Weekend, Spring Fling, Hey Day and Ivy Day. Let us help you get involved at Penn.
Student Group Events
As of July 1, 2021, student organizations are no longer required to have in-person events approved in advance. Instead, we ask all groups to review the updated Summer Guidance for student organizations. As with all guidance from the University, it is subject to change. We intend to provide an update to this guidance in mid-August that will serve as the Fall guidance for student organizations. However, student groups may use the current guidance as they plan for Fall activities.
During this time of remote operations, the OSA is committed to maintaining meaningful student engagement opportunities. Please review our guidance for Summer 2021 Group Guidance , visit our COVID19 FAQ for regular updates and check out some of tools and suggestions for Virtual Engagement.
Our staff is transitioning back to on-campus operations this summer and the office will be fully operational in person by mid-August. During this transition please continue to be in contact via email.
Since the university is providing student Zoom Pro accounts, the Office of Student Affairs is no longer providing student Zoom Pro accounts. For student groups with existing Zoom Pro accounts, please contact us via email for support.
