Let us help you get involved at Penn.
The Office of Student Affairs has responsibility for student activities and governance, University Life leadership programs, and campus-wide special events such as Family Weekend, Spring Fling, Hey Day and Ivy Day.
Student Group Events
In contrast to Spring ’21, groups are no longer required to have in-person events approved in advance of planning. However, Penn’s longstanding event registration process for social events held on and off-campus will resume this semester.
As with all guidance from the University, it is subject to change. Our most current guidance will always be available on this site.
Welcome Back & A Note On Office Operations
We are excited to welcome students back to campus for the 2021-2022 academic year! We’ve made it through an incredible time apart and are embracing some of the things we’ve learned through our remote work. As such, you may see some changes in the processes you were familiar with prior to COVID-19. Our goal, as always, is to support the great work of Penn’s student organizations and to help build a thriving, healthy, and joyful Penn community.
Our staff has returned to the office and is available to assist students and Penn community members Monday-Friday in 200 Houston Hall. To support best practices with COVID-19, we are encouraging appointments with staff, though they are not required. If you do not have an assigned advisor in OSA, you can send a note to our general email account or call 215-898-6533 for assistance.
